Qué es CH3TRIS
CH3TRIS (leído chetris) es el desafío más adictivo sobre un tablero de ajedrez de 3×3 que te reta a reubicar tus piezas a la nueva disposición indicada en el menor número de movimientos posible.
Cada desafío te indica en la parte superior la nueva disposición de las piezas que deberás recrear en tu tablero y el número mínimo de movimientos en el que debes lograrlo. Si lo consigues, habrás hecho CH3TRIS.
El modo principal es CH3TRIS: sin límite de retos, el jugador encadena todos los CH3TRIS que pueda en el menor tiempo posible y la partida finaliza en cuanto no supera uno. También existe el Daily CH3TRIS: un reto diario común para todos los jugadores del mundo, con 1 minuto y 1 intento al día, siempre gratuito. Son partidas rápidas, cada partida suele durar entre treinta segundos y dos minutos. Se juega en el navegador, a través de su versión web, y en sus apps oficiales para iPhone y Android.
CH3TRIS es gratis con un límite de 3 partidas al día. En la app, un pago único de 3€ elimina ese límite para siempre. El reto diario «Daily CH3TRIS» es siempre gratis y no cuenta para el límite.

La historia
CH3TRIS nace de un encuentro casual. El diseñador y creativo español Ramon Buzon, con amplia experiencia en el sector juguetero habiendo creado ya varios juegos internacionales tanto físicos como digitales, descubre The Royal Study y ve en él una idea que cabe en formato digital de forma natural, donde lo digital aporta lo que el físico no puede: puntuación, cronómetro, progresión de niveles y retos que estimulan al jugador a medida que mejora. Construye una versión respetuosa con la idea original que rediseña y optimiza en un nuevo producto digital adictivo desde el primer día.

El lunes 20 de julio, Día Internacional del Ajedrez, se estrena CH3TRIS (ch3tris.com, leído «chetris»): un puzzle diario de ajedrez en tablero 3×3 que debe ser resuelto en menos de un minuto y que desafía a jugadores de todo el mundo a resolverlo gratis cada día. No hace falta saber jugar al ajedrez: basta con saber cómo mueve cada pieza.
CH3TRIS está firmado por el diseñador y creativo ovetense Ramón Buzón, con más de 20 años de trayectoria en el ámbito publicitario y una amplia experiencia en el sector juguetero. Tras haber creado varios juegos de proyección internacional, tanto físicos como digitales, y tomando como inspiración el juego de mesa The Royal Study, del neerlandés Stan van Rooijen, Buzón ha desarrollado este original y adictivo juego, repleto de desafiantes retos disponibles en la web y la app de CH3TRIS.
El nombre une Chess, Tetris y el 3 del tablero; resolver un reto en el número óptimo de movimientos es, en la jerga del juego, «hacer un CH3TRIS».

What CH3TRIS is
CH3TRIS (pronounced “chetris”) is the most addictive challenge on a 3×3 chessboard, daring you to rearrange your pieces into the target layout in the fewest possible moves.
Each challenge shows you at the top the new layout of pieces you must recreate on your board, and the minimum number of moves to do it in. If you pull it off, you'll have made a CH3TRIS.
The main mode is CH3TRIS: with no challenge limit, the player chains as many CH3TRIS as possible in the least time, and the game ends the moment one is failed. There is also Daily CH3TRIS: one shared daily challenge for players around the world, with 1 minute and 1 attempt per day, always free. They are quick games; each game usually lasts between thirty seconds and two minutes. It plays in the browser, through its web version, and in its official iPhone and Android apps.
CH3TRIS is free with a limit of 3 games a day. In the app, a one-time payment of €3 removes that limit forever. The daily challenge, “Daily CH3TRIS”, is always free and doesn’t count toward the limit.

On Monday, July 20 — International Chess Day — CH3TRIS (ch3tris.com, pronounced "chetris") makes its debut: a daily chess puzzle on a 3×3 board that must be solved in under a minute, challenging players around the world to crack it for free every day. You don't need to know how to play chess: knowing how each piece moves is enough.
CH3TRIS is the work of Ramon Buzon, a Spanish designer and creative from Oviedo with more than 20 years in advertising and extensive experience in the toy industry. Having created several games with international reach, both physical and digital, and taking inspiration from the board game The Royal Study by Dutch designer Stan van Rooijen, Buzon has developed this original and addictive game, packed with challenging puzzles available on the CH3TRIS website and app.
The name blends Chess, Tetris and the 3 of the board; solving a challenge in the optimal number of moves is, in the game's own jargon, "making a CH3TRIS".
CH3TRIS is free to play, with up to 3 free games per day, and its app also offers a premium version for €3 that unlocks unlimited games forever.
